The Haven PWA at haven.mindoodb.com is free to use. It is the same client we develop, deploy, and use in-house.

Privacy & collaboration in Community

Haven Community already keeps your data private with end-to-end encryption: use it to hide documents from other users, keep your own private tenants, or collaborate together in shared tenants. What Community does not include is centralized governance - group management, access control, controlling which data the MindooDB server delivers to each user, remote device wipe, and control over which document creation and changes from a tenant's clients are accepted when documents are materialized are Haven Enterprise features.

Haven Community is also a complete platform for custom app development. You can build apps by hand with the MindooDB App SDK, or let an AI agent generate them from /llms-full.txt and the reference repos (mindoodb-app-example for the SDK's data APIs, mindoodb-app-weather for responsive embedding and UX) - see Build with AI.

Unlimited tenants per user
Create as many private or shared tenants as you need — the number of tenants per user is never restricted.
Admin users are free
Identities used only to administrate a tenant don't count toward your seats — you pay for people who collaborate.
Unlimited devices, per-device keys
Collaborate from as many devices as you like. Each device can hold its own encryption keys, as long as it is listed in the same user document in the directory database.
Bring your own apps
Keep apps you built yourself — by hand or generated by an LLM from /llms-full.txt — in your MindooDB Cloud, manually or via the App SDK.

Haven Enterprise is a commercial client from Mindoo GmbH that builds on the same MindooDB core. It adds the features organizations ask for when they roll Haven out across teams, departments, and devices - much of it driven by a family of admin-signed policies for governance, key and app distribution, sync setup, and document purging.

Governance & access control

Server-side data delivery control
The read/sync gate controls which databases the MindooDB server delivers to each user and group; a revoked user stops receiving data and can no longer open their synced copy.
Materialization control (Tier 1/2)
Control which document creation and changes from a tenant's clients are accepted when documents are materialized - enforced per user and per group across the Tier 1 and Tier 2 model.
Remote device wipe
Drop a whole tenant from a stolen or departed device the next time it connects.
Admin-blind key distribution
Push encryption keys to users and groups - and pull them back - wrapped per recipient so not even the admin can read them; the next sync reveals or hides the affected documents automatically.
Sync setup policies
Centrally configure how a tenant's clients sync - which server, databases, and options - and roll the setup out to Haven clients.
Purge requests
Permanently remove documents from a database beyond an ordinary delete, governed as admin-signed, auditable purge requests.
